Meet Our Inner Team

  • CEO of Social Media

Hey! My name is Tina Dang, a high school student based in Florida working as the Instagram Manager for Pangea Kids. I have always been an advocate for health equity and hope that my work with Pangea Kids can help to empower others to start their service journey with us!

As for other work I do, over the past 5 years I have helped hand out much needed food and necessities to temples in Vietnam. Career wise, I hope to pursue a profession in research and add to the endless body of science!

I hope during my time with Pangea Kids I am able to encourage others to find their deep passion for helping. Reach out to me via Instagram @tinaadangg!

  • Scribe/Secretary

Hello! I’m Valerie, a senior in high school from Burbank, CA. I’m one of the Chapter Presidents for Pangea Kids, and my role is to take detailed notes during meetings, raise awareness, coordinate events and collaborations with other nonprofits, and help reach our goals.

I joined Pangea Kids because I wanted to help Vietnam’s healthcare system, as I resonate with their situation deeply due to the medical challenges in certain areas of the Philippines. I wanted to make a difference. I have held positions such as my STREAM Club’s President and Vice President, became NAMI Glendale’s first intern, and played varsity soccer. I am planning to pursue a career as a pediatric speech therapist because I want to help and work with children! I dedicate my free time to binging Netflix shows like How I Met Your Mother.
